All- India final trade test are conducted by the DGE&T , ministry of lebour under the aegis of the national council for vocational training in July (main) and January (Supplementary) every year .

National trade certificate is a recognized qualification for recruitment to relevant post and services in central/state government establishments as wall as in foreign countries also.
